Trilobyte was a computer game developer founded in December 1990 by Graeme Devine and Rob Landeros. They are well-known in the computer game industry for The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour games, and to a lesser extent for Clandestiny and other titles. LogoThe official company logo consists of a trilobite superimposed on a pyramid. The design for the logo went through many changes, from the simple, to celebrating holidays on their webpage (now defunct). The logo pictured here is from a mirror of the old official company page, and is more elaborate than versions seen within the games themselves. From Wikipedia under the
GNU Free Documentation License the 11HOUR (trilobyte) game is TOO FAST!!!? Q. Hi, I just got the 11th HOUR game working on my XP system with a Couple of Patches I had to install the problem is that the intro to the game just zooms past and practically skips, (it goes too fast like I just pressed the fast forward button on a dvd player) I know I need a slowdown program for my machine because it is too fast for this old DOS game. Can anyone help me?? and please include details on how I can slow down the speed of my machine to play this game. Thank you. Asked by ANDY - Thu Mar 8 09:01:57 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Your best bet is to get a DOS-emulator called DOSBox and run the game in it's MS-DOS mode. It creates a DOS environment and allows you to set all kinds of things in order to get it working. When a human shoe print was found smashing a trilobite, an index fossil of 500 million years ago, geologists all over the world were asked, "How could a human wearing shoes step on a trilobite when trilobites lived 500 million years ago. man didn't get here until 3 million years ago, and people didn't begin wearing shoes until 5000 years ago? At that time the idea was either aliens wearing shoes visited earth that long ago or a trilobyte shaped like a shoe fell on a smaller one 2. Professors and museum guides have actually said that we can know age of the earth's layers by the index fossils we find in them and we can know the age of index fossils by the layers they are found in. Huh? 3. An index fossil dated at 570 million years ago… [cont.] Asked by Siloam Tech - Wed Oct 10 04:00:21 2007 - - 20 Answers - 0 Comments A. 1 The trilobites are real (Elrathia kingii), but the "sandal print" is a spall pattern. The heel of the Meister print is not worn down but is caused by a long crack running across the rock. It lacks the diagnostic features that a real sandal print has. There are many other weathering features in the area identical in character to the so-called sandal prints but in a variety of shapes. They do not occur in a trail but as isolated prints (Conrad 1981). Geochemical processes, such as solution penetrations, spalling, and other weathering, have been well documented to produce such features on the shales of the Wheeler Formation, where the prints were found (Stokes 1986). 2) Wrong the age of the earth can be dated from rocks, the universe… [cont.] Answered by penster_x - Wed Oct 10 04:20:56 2007 Internet connection restarts itself every few minutes..help?
Q. So I'm on the Internet checking mail, checking news when all of the sudden my internet connection disconnects then restarts itself. My computer is also receiving lag, or random freezes time to time. I have a new computer quad-core 2 with 3 gigs of RAM and 1 trilobyte, or 1000 gigs of memory. With only about 100-200 gigs used up, and a recent increase of computer Internet speed. I have ran 2 full comprehensive virus scans with Norton 360 and it hasn't picked anything up. I also restored my computer about 7 days before I started receiving these problems, but connection keeps restarting. I have also unplugged my wireless router and modem. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on? All help is appreciated! I actually have the same problem and have conceded to the fact that I am going to suck it up and pay to get it repaired and than invest in good virus protection.
