How do you solve for x given a first degree binomial divided by a first degree binomial?
Q. I am asked to find f^-1(x)=(x+1)/(2x+1). Basically, f(x)=y, so y=(x+1)/(2x+1). I can't seem to be able to solve for x, and I am getting very agitated. Help please!

A. (2x+1)y=x+1 2xy+y=x+1 2xy-x=1-y x(2y-1)=1-y x=(1-y)/(2y-1)

What is the relationship between x squared and the square root of x?
Q. Take these two equations: y=x and y= x If you graph both of them, what is the relationship between the two graphs. Note: The x and y values for both equations are reversed, so when x =4 and y =16 for one equation, x=16 and y=4 for the other. But what does this tell me mathematically?

A. y1 = x^2 y2 = x The relationship between the two graphs? Well y1 = x^2 = x * x * x * x = y2^4 So y1 = y2 for any x that belongs to [0 ; +infinite] So the graphs of y1 and y2 are always proportional, the proportion being k = y2^3 because y1 = y2^3 * y2 This means Cy1 crosses Cy2 at 0 and 1 Cy1 is below Cy2 on ]0 ; 1[ because... y1 - y2 = x^2 - x = ( x)^4 - x = ( x)[( x)^3 - 1] lim (x -> 0) x = 0 lim (x -> 0) ( x)^3 = 0 => lim x)^3 - 1 = -1 So lim (x -> 0) y1 - y2 = 0 negative This means y1 - y2 < 0 so Cy1 is below Cy2 You must also calculate the limit of y1 - y2 when x -> 1 and most likely also see the variations / signs of y1 - y2 as well if you really want to demonstrate this... How do you answer a trinomial factorization where x is negative?
Q. I have the problem x^2= 24-10x. Therefore, you would move the x^2 to the right side of the equation, but after that it would be 0=24-10x-x^2.

A. x^2 = 24 - 10x Set equal to zero x^2 + 10x - 24 = 0 Two factors of -24 that sum to 10. The factors are 12 and -2, since 12*(-2) = -24 and 12 - 2 = 10 (x + 12)(x - 2) = 0 x + 12 = 0 or x - 2 =0 x = -12 or x = 2

A. It has a equation solver. Press the MATH button and scroll down to solver. You have to have the equation equal to zero before you to it in. So if the equation was 4x - 3 = 17. You would have to put in the equation as 4x -20 = 0.

A. It is said that power corrupts, and that absolute power corrupts absolutely. The person may not have a personality disorder. What you see is the consequence of natural laws. By the way, do not think of him as safe in that position. Such people can stay in that situation perhaps for years, but then reality has a way to assert itself.

A. I am a teenager myself, and honestly, I used to watch it almost every time they showed it on tele! But now, I've stopped watching it..It was stupid, the fact that they were purposely keeping JE in the show...! The best acts have all now gone, lucie, jamie...hopefully stacey will win! I know all my other friends have also stopped watching the show now, they're teenagers and others too..so yeah, it's disappointing, x factor, a huge flop this year..!!!

How to I resize a photo to get 600 x 600 pixels exactly?
Q. I need to submit my photo for DV2011 visa lottery and they need it to be 600 x 600 pixels exactly. I've tried so many kinds of photo shopping but they automatically correct it to 450 x 600. Thanks!

A. Try this software: They have lots of resize options, and I believe you yourself can point out the exact resize parameters. It is also quite easy to use as soon as you download it. Here is more information about that.
